IT'S DAVID BLAKE MERCER!

Music has always been a passion of mine, I have been messing with different kinds of instruments since I can remember. That also goes for video games, I have been an active gamer since i was 3. I guess it's a no-brainer on to why I make nerdcore music. I didn't even know that was what I was making at first, originally I just made beats since I was best at drums and kinda went for an electro hip hop sound. I didn't write lyrics because I didn't think I was good enough to be a vocalist so I just made lots of instumentals using FL Studio 8 which I got from my friend Rewriter back in 2007. I continued to make songs up untill 2008 when I didn't have access to a computer, by that time I had got a good grasp on producing and was ready to start taking it seriously.

I started working on my first LP "Live" once I got my own computer and released it in 2010 on ryhmetorrents.org (now known as nerdcorenow.com) and posted it up on a couple other sites. It came with the EP "I'm Back" which is now bonus tracks you get when you buy the a I have hit a conflicting matter in my career and that word might be the problem right there. I always thought music should be free because it cost nothing to make but your time and creativity and being an musical artist I know that it can be a fun powerful tool to express something, but a career has to be able to support me as well. I never bought music unless it was out of support alone so knowing that I will simply do this: All my albums will be up on this website for free and for people who want CDs I have um for 10$ but I'll let um go for 5$ and blanks for 1$.

I'm currently working on my next LP "Sophmorecore" which should be completed in the next month. It too shall be released here and acctual CDs will be distributed to the masses!

This is the news section where I let you know about all the things I'm currently working on. As you fine people can see, this site is all under construction and I am doing the best I can to get it running at tip top shape, my main thing in the works is my 2nd album entitled "Sophmorecore" which is almost done and will be released here. I am going to make another attempt at the Squish Squash Squad's podcast once I consult with some old friends.
